I looked at the clock it had stopped the doors shut by themselves, like something from a horror movie. we had been dismissed to our 7th period class. We had 1 hour and 30 minutes till it was spring break but all of a sudden the power went out the school had been dismissed for a city wide power outage. 2 days later we left boring Iowa City( it's not you it's me i'm used to big cities ) for a 5 hour trip to Bloomington, Minnesota. The first day we went to the aquarium, were my sister had a blast and fell three times by running around and when we were done we went shopping I got glow in the dark stingray made out of glass and some Mike and Ike headphones.
The next day we went to the nickelodeon amusement park where me and my brother had been doing the craziest rides. The most wimpy one we went on was a roller coaster that wrapped around the park and the best one was a skateboard roller coaster ramp that scaled four stories which went back and fourth, we went on that ride three times. After all the rides we left the park and went to a special event for the timberwolves basketball team and of course my brother went to take a picture with the timberwolves cheerleaders :| , Why are you taking pictures with them if your a bulls fan. Anyway after that they had a court were you could shoot and play some basketball, My brother scored 4 three pointers and I scored 5, I also butchered some alley oop attempts, and that was it we went back to Iowa City were I just played video games until school started back again.

A similarities between the two books are the concentration camps, the methods of mass murder, and the propaganda of the Nazi's party. In the movie it showed impact of what the propaganda and what teachers were teaching the kids young as 8 years old. In the book Night it showed how the harsh conditions Jews were put into and how they moved the Jews to concentrations camps only giving them small rations for a three day trip to arrive at camps were they would be put in selections.
Pavol was the Jewish servant before he was killed by Ralf's subordinate Kotler (probably the most evil person in the movie). He is probably in his late 50's or early 60's, he seems like a really sweet person who never deserved to die, but he often was sad but who blames him he had his life all going for him until he was sent to the concentration camp, and he mentions that he was practicing as a doctor before the war. This unit has definitely changed me I hate the people who ran the camps a hundred more times and informed me of the last effort to butcher the Jewish race that took the lives of 6 million Jews. I like book way better because I get to use my imagination to picture what happens in it and I always liked books better. |
